Journal Prompt: Soul-Based Inquiry

AND WHAT KIND OF…

As a new student of Soul-Based Coaching, I’ve been introduced to a new method of mindful communication. Clean Language and Clean Questions invite you to dive deeper into your own experiences and get to know them from a new perspective. Here is a brief example you can explore before your first Soul-Based Coaching session with me.

Prompts:

1. Name a quality you possess and appreciate about yourself.

2. Keep that quality in mind and fill in the blank. "What kind of ____ is that ____?”

Here is an example

A quality I possess and appreciate about myself is my slow nature. So I ask: “What kind of slow nature is that?”

My answer? It’s the kind of slow nature that comes from mindfulness, presence, from enjoying taking my time, from recognizing that when I move quickly I miss things, from being an earthy Taurus that enjoys indulging in life’s pleasures…the list can go on as long as you’d like!

Give it a try and you might be surprised how much can come up from one seemingly simple question.
